Luka did not play fine. Not at all. Numbers do not always tell the complete story. He & Kyrie had a terrible NBA Finals. Period. There was one game he scored 32 points, had a triple double, etc. Some were praising those stats. I'm like, he had 23 at the half, 9 in the 2nd. That's not a great game. From what we saw in the NBA Finals was not great at all. Period. Now, what does he need to work on? 1) Stop complaining. 2) Have a better feel of who is rolling in the game and do everything you can to give them the rock to keep rolling. 3) Improve defensively. 4) Get his role players involved early in games. 5) Get in shape. He was dealing with some injuries sure, but once he gets into proper shape (i.e. look at what Jokic did the previous year (off-season) before winning the title).

The NFL already has a hard salary cap, if one team wants to give their QB all the money I don’t really care. Whether it works or not is is the team’s problem. Brady was always concerned about winning first and was never the highest paid QB at any point in his career. If another QB is more concerned about milking his team for as much money he can, then that’s his prerogative. It’s up to the team to decide whether he’s worth it.
